Windows 10: Ability to enlarge desktop icons when viewing multiple desktop Thumbnails

My work requires that I monitor multiple desktops (10+) in real time. However, when I switch to the desktop overview screen (CTRL+TAB) I can only see very small thumbnails which are virtually unreadable.

Does anyone much smarter than me know a way that I might be able to enlarge these thumbnails so I can maintain a bird's eye view of all the desktops at once?

Enlarged Icons on Desktop

when I turned on computer today, all icons and the desktop pic are enlarged....if I open an icon, everything in that link, is enlarged...it makes the pics distorted because of its size..how can I correct this ?

Lol. Of course MS responds with suggestions that you broke something. MS broke this with the Creators Update. They pretty much broke desktop icons altogether (probably doing some dumb crap for touch interface). I am really angry about this seeing as how
the ability to view your desktop as a list with details was just about the only great UI advancement in Windows 10. There used to be a Windows 7 addon that would get your icons as a list and of course this no longer works either. Awful because I am one of
those weirdos that uses my desktop as a working desktop and this has hit my productivity as I now have to change my workflow. Thanks MS. You're the best.

 

Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

Hi Laurie,

As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Click on view
• Check the option auto arrange icons.
