Windows 10: Ability to filter/sort results in the Store app ?

I see we have been asking for a sort function for 10 years now. I am finding it incredibly tedious to find worthwhile apps, because there is no way to sort by rating. 10 years! No wonder I get laughed at when I say I use Edge.

That appears to be a step backwards. Previous versions of Store permitted sorting by rating and other criteria. Also, previous versions permitted filtering by price.

Any guesses why previously existing functions were removed?

When running a search in the Store app, I occasionally have too many results - in those cases, I would like to sort them alphabetically or by rating, filter out paid apps, etc.

I also can't find a way to perform a search on the results page (as in CTRL-F).

Are these features not available, or am I missing something?

BTW, while this Ask the Community page requires me to classify this question as either PC or Phone, but - for some strange reason - not both, the question equally applies to the phone version of the Store app.

Those features you are looking for are not available. Store automatically sorts the apps in different categories.
