Windows 10: abnormal Audio with headphones, restored to normal after uninstalling driver and rebooting...

So in windows 11, sometimes when headphones are plugged in, I face sound abnormalities, which is restored back to normal when I uninstall the HeadphoneRealtek audio driver under Audio Inputs and Outputs section, the problem is that after some time the audio issue arises again, I redo the uninstall and reboot process, it works and then after some time its back, and the cycle repeats. It's really frustrating.I know for sure the headphones are normal coz they work just as fine on my phone. And back when I had windows 10 ,I never encountered this problem.

DTS Audio Control and headphone plug

This issue with the DTS Audio Control can be caused by system corruption on the application itself. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you uninstall the application. Here's how:

• Type DTS in the search field at the task bar.
• Right-click on the DTS Audio Control in the results.
• Click Uninstall.
• Once done, proceed with installing it back.

You can also check out with HP as the manufacturer of this application for any updated drivers that can help to resolve the issue.

You may try to plug in the headphone again once the issue has been resolved. If it is the same, try a different headphone and let us know about the results.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

the display adapter. Refer top these steps:

• Open Control Panel
• Click on Troubleshooting and select the view all option on the left pane.
• Click on Hardware and devices troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

Try method 2, if the issue persist

Method 2: If the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter do not fix
the issue then I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers and reboot the computer to get the updated drivers installed for the headphone. Please follow below mentioned steps:

• Open Control Panel
• Click on Device Manager and select the audio input and output drivers
• Right click on driver that appears after plugging the headphone and click on uninstall
• After uninstalling, unplug the headphone and restart the computer
• Plugging the headphone again and the computer will detect the updates drivers automatically.
  

Now check if the headphones work on the computer or not.
