Windows 10: "Abnormal status reported by Rapid Storage Technology UEFI driver" and Bsod after a...

After installing an update that I believe was released today I ran into an issue when my laptop Alienware x15 r1 wouldn't boot up Windows. On the regular boot up screen a box appeared stating "Abnormal status reported by Rapid Storage Technology UEFI driver" which then ends up with a blue screen with the stop code "IN ACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE". I attempted to resolve the issue using the advanced troubleshooting tools by first trying to uninstall the latest update, and then attempting to restore to a previous state but, but this ended up failing but gave me the error code "0x80070002". This issue might occur when the drivers are not updated properly.

I suggest to download the latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver from manufacturer’s website and install it.

edit: I see they're having some DL limit issues atm, never seen that before.. Usually just click on "Télécharger" and it starts dl'ing.
