Windows 10: Abnormal stuttering in my windows

I am having really weird stuttering in my windows pc which usually play games on, this started happening a couple of weeks ago.whenever i start a game it runs fine 60fps up till a certain point when it starts stuttering, skipping frames and makes really weird stuttering noises . And on closing the game this stutter persists to my windows like UI animations lags etc. Then i have to wait until the stuttering is gone or restart my pc to get rid of the stuttering.I have checked for all hardware usages nothing out of ordinary and thermals of both cpu and gpu are the same.i cant pinpoint the issue h

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

FPS drops below 10 every couple of minutes

Very interesting. Our default suggestion list for fighting stutter becomes more interesting.
