Windows 10: About a vertical line in desktop screen

I suddenly noticed that there is very slight vertical line on my monitor. This is very interesting that this line isn't permanent! I mean it comes sometimes, and vanishes sometimes. It also changes colors when it appears. I checked the HDMI cable, graphics card and tried to update the latest graphics driver. However, the line appears and vanishes on it's own. This line doesn't appear on BIOS screen. So, this is not a hardware issue, might be a windows problem.

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

 

Black Vertical Line just on my desktop screen

Hi there,

I also have the same problem. Laptop is two weeks old, updated to Windows 10 a few days ago. It is just on my desktop screen, a black vertical line in the middle. Goes away when I restart the computer then just reappears. Tried to update display drivers
and they are ok, line is still there. Any other suggestions?

Black Vertical Line just on my desktop screen

Hi,

I have the similar problem in my lenovo g50-80 with windows 10. it's like this -Whenever I open a window on the desktop a 1 pixel wide vertical black line appears. However
when I press win+D or click the right side of the taskbar to show the desktop the line disappears. But if there is a window open on the desktop or I manually minimize/close all of my windows the line remains.

I've tried the the support engineers suggestion but it didn't work
