Windows 10: About CD riping

I was CD riping on my windows 11 and got this message We were not able to complete the CD rip operation 0x8001010E I did get my music files but I don't under stand what it mean

We apologize for the delayed response. Since the issue remains the same, can you let us know if you have tried to rip other CDs and if you're getting any error messages?

In the meantime, we suggest that you enable error correction. Windows Media Player can play some CDs that contain errors if the error correction option is turned on. Here's how:

• Open Windows Media Player.
• Go to Tools -> Options -> Devices.
• Select CD/DVD device and choose Advanced.
• Place a check mark on “Use error correction”.
• Once done, try ripping the CD.

RIP CDs

Hi,

We suggest that you perform these steps and check if the issue persists:

• Press "Windows" + "E" button on the keyboard.
• Go to "View > Navigation pane" and select "Show libraries".
• Now in the navigation pane, right-click on the "Music" library under "Libraries" and select "Delete".
• Now right-click on the "Libraries" and select "Restore default libraries".
• Now try to rip.
