Windows 10: About dolby atmos speakers

Hi,

I installed dolby atmos and its drivers manuallynot from microsoft store after this i am getting best sound but i feel it more on right side, some thing that one speaker is playing at low volume before installing dolbty atmos it is normal.

I also check volume labels but they are both equal and my earphones are working well when i checked on another device.

I also read questions in Microsoft community but my problem is not resolved. If you suggest to change drivers so please help me to select bestyou can also provide link

And one more thing if you suggest firstly unistalling a drivers of audio, so how i add newly ones?

Dolby Atmos

We would like to confirm if you have check if you Dolby Atmos can be dectect by your computer?

We suggest that you check if its being detected by following these steps:

• At the bottom right side of your screen, where the Time and date can also be located, look for the
  sound icon.
• Right click on the sound icon, a smaill window will pop up with the Sound
  menus.
• Click on the Playback Devices.
• The Sound window will appear with the Playback
  tab.
• Look for Dolby Atmos to make sure that it is properly installed.

If its not on the list in Playback Devices, kindly check if its listed in Device Manager by:

• From the Start menu, type in Device Manager, then
  Enter.
• Then click the Sound, video and game controllers driver.
• Look for Dolby Atmos, then right click on it, then click
  Unintall.
• Once done, remove your Dolby Atmos device and restart you computer.
  

After your computer has restarted and your are in the Desktop screen of your computer, connect your Dolby Atmos device. It should automatically be installed in your computer by giving you prompts. Once successfully installed, kindly check if it is detected
now by you computer in Playback Devices.

Dolby Atmos

I checked this line:

5. Look for Dolby Atmos to make sure that it is properly installed.

and i have list with my two audio cards :

1. onboard - Realtek High Definition audio

and

2. dedicated Asus xonar DG audio device.

When selecting option 1. i have spatial sound dolby atmos option, but when selecting option 2, i have listed only "none" under spatial sound.

I can confirm that i had spatial sound on previous win10 build

For this part:

• From the Start menu, type in Device Manager, then Enter.

• Look for Dolby Atmos, then right click on it, then click Unintall.
• Once done, remove your Dolby Atmos device and restart you computer.

i dont have dolby atmos under sound, video and game controllers

 

Dolby ATMOS and Realtek HCL3661

Hi Rick,

Windows 10’s Creators Update added support for Dolby Atmos positional sound. This includes two things: Support for Dolby Atmos hardware and virtual Dolby Atmos sound that works in any pair of headphones. This feature requires Dolby Atmos-enabled hardware,
notably a Dolby Atmos-enabled receiver.

We are not particular with the Pioneer SC-LX501 receiver but to use Atmos, you need a 5.1.2 (two Atmos speakers) system. If you don't have specific Atmos speakers that are upward firing or ceiling mounted speakers you can't do Atmos. Make sure you have the
receiver set up for 5.1 and set the PC to that as well until you get additional speakers. Ceiling mount speakers will work better than the upward firing type of Atmos speaker.

If you have not yet done so, download the
Dolby Access app from the Windows Store and launch it. The app will guide you through setting this up. If you have Dolby Atmos receiver you want to use with your PC, select
With my home theater. If you select a home theater PC, you’ll be given a link to enable the
Dolby Atmos for home theater option in the Windows Sound settings control panel. After you do, the app will prompt you to calibrate your system.
