Windows 10: ABOUT MICRSOFT SERVICES

Hi, I am a user of Windows. I am facing too many problems in my Windows 10 PC. Actually My computer hard Drive was Corrupted after six month of Purchasing it. I don't know why the Hard drive was corrupted. I have Installed a New hard Drive of the same 1tb. After the Installation of the new Hard Drive and the was started working as it was running before.Please Note that: If a new hard drive was inserted, it may be empty and no packages were installed. Am I right?. But after A few days a My Computer automatically installed a new Update of Windows 10 1909. After the updating of Windows, a lot of Microsoft Services started running in Background! I don't know why it happens!

My PC SPECIFICATIONS: DELL Inspiron 3277 AIO Series, 4gb ram and 1tb of memory.

If a solution is available please help Me.

Location service is greyed out

Sorry for the inconvenience caused for you, I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check If it helps.

Step 1: Steps to turn on the Location settings.

• Login as an administrator.
• Press Windows key, type Location settings and select
  Change location settings.
• Check whether Location for this device is On by clicking on
  Change.
• Also turn on Location as well.

Step 2: And as you are unable to set the service Geolocation service to automatic, I suggest you to run SFC scan and check.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
  

Try to set the service to automatic by following the steps provided in the above post by Praveen Venugopal.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Help with the Windows Search Service failed

• In the Run box, type services.msc and then hit the Enter key.
• In the Services window, look for Windows Search, right-click on it and then choose Stop.
• Restart your computer.
• Pull-up the Services window again.
• Look for Windows Search, right-click on it and then choose Start.
