Windows 10: About the free trial period of Microsoft Azure

Dear Sir/Madam, This is a question about Azure, but there is no response from Azure Community. So, I ask here. My Azure free trial period has been over > 30 days. It asks me to upgrade and says that there is a 12 months of free services for keep going. May I ask what the free services can be provided in this 12 months ??

Free trial version of Microsoft Azure IoT Suite for understanding and experimentation

I want to use Microsoft Azure IoT Suite for understanding and experimentation.

Basically I want to develop a sample application using Azure IoT.



For that I click on link “Free Trial” -> “Try It Now“, options available on Microsoft Azure IoT web site.

Then It take me to the page where I need to sign up with page title as Microsoft Azure.



If I use my personal account to log in to Microsoft Azure web site, on sign up page for Azure IoT it asks me credit card details.

And when I use my professional account (provided by my company) then it does not ask for credit card details, why so?



Also when I login to Microsoft Azure IoT using my professional account and when sign up for Microsoft Azure,

will it get charged to my professional account?



For now I need free trial only.

Cost & Trial period

How hard can it be to tell people a- the service is free for a trial period, b- how long that trial period is for and c- how much the service costs after the end of the trial period?



I can't find any mention of these things anywhere. It leaves a very bad taste and looks like they are trying to rip you off!
