    About windows 10 high data consumption


    I have a windows 10 pc. Whenever I connect it to mobile hotspot it consumes too much data.It consumed 1 GB data in 2 minutes.when I checked the data usage, all apps were fine except system. System consumed 700 mb data in 2 minutes. I have turned off all auto updates and have set wifi as metered connection but still getting this problem. Please solve,I am unable to connect my pc to internet due to this problem.

    Hi,

    There are several causes of high data usage on your network. It depends on the applications or software used that requires network connection. For you to check the data consumption or data usage on your PC, follow the steps below:

    • On Cortana search, type data usage overview.
    • Select Data usage overview from the list.
    • Under Overview, click on Usage details.

    To address your concern with auto update options, can you tell us what particular updates are installed automatically on your computer?
