Windows 10: About Windows Defender

HiI have a problem with my [Windows 10 pro Virus Defender]Recently one of my friends gave me a crack version of "NEET FOR SPEED" and when I half way through installing the tutorial video says turn off windows real time protection . I thought this wont do anything, after that the tutorial says to double tap a application call disable windows defender. after I disable it security and maintenance center started to spam me with notification saying restart the computer so as a scared kid I did that too.But when I tried to log in again it asked for internet connection. After bit of hard work I took

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.

Installing Apps on Windows 10 Has Windows Defender Finding Malware

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

• 
  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion

Windows update and windows defender issues

We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
  
• Click Settings.
  
• Turn Real-time protection on.

We also recommend you to install the latest update for Windows Defender.
