    Absolutely cannot delete unused files

Win11 will not allow me to turn on memory integrity because of two old files: cxcvbs.sys and cxclrcap.sys. I know what they're from: an old VHS-to-digital capture service I borrowed from my sister. I am done using said app and have uninstalled it, but these drivers remain.I have gone as far as booting into safe mode and using an elevated command prompt, taking ownership of the file it says "successful" and trying a force delete, but no matter what I do and in what combination it says, "Access denied."Unlocking SW IO Bit says the files is not locked, but clearly Windows will not allow me to

    :)

    Delete Unused Prfetch Files

    Hi,

To view the prefetch folder, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type in "C:/WINDOWS/Prefetch" without the quotation.

By then, you can now view the list of prefetch on your Windows. You can determine which prefetch to delete by its filename and the date that it has been modified. You can also check its properties for the details of the said prefetch files. To delete it, right-click
the said prefetch and then, click Delete.

Let us know how it goes.
