Windows 10: Absolutely impossible to use HDR on TCL TV

Hi. - Nvidia RTX 4080. - New cable HDMI 2.1- New TV TCL 55C825- HDR on in desktop settings and everywhere else. However, when I connect the TV, the HDR doesn't get activated. If I go into settings on windows on the second display, where there is the HDR, it says both Not Supported flow and HDRI tried every possible thing and there is no way to make the TV use the HDR, but it supports all sort of HDR10+ and so on.

Wndows does not detect HDR tv (10Bit)

Hello ,

Windows is not detecting my 10-bit HDR tv but is instead showing 8-Bit.

To be clear , HDR works with my PS4 and VIA home network streaming.

But windows doesn't seem to detect it as an HDR TV.

OS: Windows 10

Graphics : INTEL UHD 620

TV: TCL 55P6US

Problem with projecting my Windows 10 Asus laptop to android 55" TCL Roku TV

I'm trying to project my laptop to my Roku tv. I perform the following steps:

1. Connect To Wireless display

2. I see the 55" TCL Roku TV in the device list

3. Click on it to connect.

4. After about 20 seconds of processing, error appears: "Couldn't connect"...

Any ideas ?

Though I'm able to connect same laptop to same TV with HDMI cable.

If you have noticed that the TCL TV prompts to enter a password to pair with your windows 10 device buy Windows does not show any window to enter password.

It shows some coding issue on Microsoft's end resulting in negotiation issue among the MSTAR Media Renderer and Windows 10.

I would suggest you to kindly try EZCast Software Free for Windows/Android Devices and you will be able to connect with your TCL TV without any issues (No hardware required).
