    Absurdly Low C:/ Shrinking Limit

Hello! I got a windows 11 computer with the following specs:IntelR CoreTM i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz16.0 GB 15.8 GB usable104/457 GB UsableI wanted to split the remaining space between my main windows machine and wanted to install a dual-boot so that I could boot into Ubuntu as well. So 52/52 GB for both operating systems. The problem came when I wanted to shrink my disk to create some free space:As you can see, the max amount I can shrink is barely 1.1 GB, out of 104!! Why does this happen? I previously shrinked another disk Not the C:/ partition, but my secondary D:/!! on my

    Shrinking C: drive

    Hi Krischankailee

Try defragmenting your C drive before attempting to shrink you drive, there may be some unmovable files that are causing this

If you still cannot shrink your C drive, due to the limited ability of Windows 10 partitioning, it may be best to use a 3rd party utility like the Free version of AOMEI Partition Assistant, which is fully featured and very capable . . .

SHRINK C VOLUME TO SMALLER CAPACITY

I have the same issue. I have a brand new HP Envy 17t laptop and have put no files or apps on it. I tried to use Disk Management to shrink the C: system volume but it would only allow 50% shrink. I moved the pagefile.sys and swapfile.sys to another physical
drive, E:, but this made no difference. I can still only shrink the C: volume to 50%.

Perhaps the only solution is to use a third-party partition editor like easeus or mini Partition Editor.

If you have any other suggestions, let me know.

    Thanks!

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds
