    Absurdly slow photo preview load on fast system


    Hi, this seems ridiculous.

    I have a Gigabyte Z390 motherboard running 64GB of ram with a Gigabyte GTX 1660 graphics card and a Samsung 970 Evo Plus drive.

    Yet it takes Windows literally 30-60 seconds and sometimes more to load even "small" previews of photo files.

    How is this even possible? And can someone tell me if there's a fix? Thanks
