Windows 10: Accent colour from background 'off' + colour lost after resume

Hi, I'm using the Aerolite theme with Aeroglass, and want a consistent colour for the borders. So I set accent colour from background 'off' and choose the colour. Fine so far.

Now that's ok if I log off and on.

But if I sleep or hibernate (not personally *chuckle) and then resume, the colour and setting are lost.

I noticed that on resuming, the border colour is present until the 'Please wait' screen appears, after which these settings are lost.

Any ideas? Thanks!

What causes scrambled,reversed jumps when typing?

desktop background slideshow with pick an accent colour set is causing a refresh of the active window

it is often sufficient to just turn off the accent colour

Right click on desktop

select personalize

select colours

turn off 'automatically pick an accent colour from my background'

choose a colour from the swatches available.

if that doesn't stop it turn off the slideshow

Right click on desktop

select personalize

select a picture or solid colour for background

 

problem with mouse cursor in the box and scrolling

other people have experienced the scrolling issue when background slide show is selected along with pick an accent colour from background.

right click on the desktop and select personalise

click on 'colours'

change 'automatically pick a colour....' to off

select an accent colour from the swatches

see if the issue remains.
