Windows 10: Accent/Diacritic Mark Over South African Name?

On my Windows computer, I want to be able to type the name Andre but have it auto correct to André with that accent over the "e". I have tried inputting this into my dictionary in Windows and also explored putting this in Gmail, but neither will take/work? Is there any way on a non-Apple platform to make sure that every time I type Andre, it will change to André? Thanks so much for any help with this!

N9- Is it arriving in South Africa or not?

Hey,

Is the Nokia N9 going to be available to the South African market. If so the when can we expact it's arrival? I tried checking on that link of release dates but my country is not listed there.

 

Greek Polytonic not typing diacritical marks (accents, breathings) in Windows 7 Professional

I have been using the Greek Polytonic keyboard that comes (for optional installation) with Windows for a few years, but in the last month it has stopped allowing the typing of diacritical marks. This is true across platforms - not just in Word. Do we know
why? (I suspect the ghastly side-effect of an update.)

 

N8: Using MY voice to call a contact

For a long time I was convinced that the optimum accent was South African because a South African had a very high success rate from day 1.



From my own experience, I find that my success rate depends on 2 factors

• Background noise - very high success rate indoors but not great outdoors and in cars where there is background noise. I got around this by using a good bluetooth headset with noice cancellation, in my case a Jawbone. This combination worked very well for
  me.
• Voice recognition gets better with use. I believe it has the ability to learn your voice over time and that is certainly my experience.
