Accepted some certificate, how to find/remove it? Plus weird stuff

I couldn't update windows (KB4571756) so went to download it manually and on the site I accepted some certificate, I guess windows one, didn't pay attention. But I believe site was real. Anyway, manual update didn't install either but now I want to find certificate and remove it but can't see/search for it by date when it was added. Also, in my certificates there are some expired and also some revoked certificates in "intermediate and also in "trusted root" tab.

Is it normal to have GTE Cyber Trust Global Root certificate in "trusted" tab that expired in 2018 but also "was revoked by its certification authority"??

In events I have some errors about VPN (PC is plugged with ethernet cable to router..no VPN).. Windows network troubleshooter found a problem that can't detect proxy settings .. Setting is: ON "automatically detect settings"

Payment and NFC/SE Manger + Radio management service are on "manual" but running .. No idea why that is running. No phone, bluetooth or wifi is on or ever used.. Also, no games are played. PC is for internet and mail (windows app). Settings for radio, phonecalls, messaging, call history are turned off by admin account in gpedit.msc

I'll format everything.. But should I do it now or wait for October version of Microsoft Media tool so that I avoid updates soon ?? Thanks

    Accepting Certificates

Is it possible to have the device accept new certificates? Trying to get hooked up to a private wireless network and it requires being able to load a certificate on the device.

  3. ON WINDOWS 10 HOW DO I REMOVE MALWARE TITLED SML CLEANER PLUS FROM MY C DRIVE?

    Follow the steps here.

    https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-slimcleaner-plus/

If it is not listed in the Control Panel, or it can't be removed there, move on to step 2. HitmanPro might not be needed.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you would like to remove old certificates. I will be glad to assist you with this.

If you would let us know the conflicts that you are referring to, we will be glad to assist you.

To view the certificates in Internet Explorer, follow the steps below:

    1. Press Windows key + R to open the run command.

    2. Type inetcpl.cpl to open the internet properties window.

    3. Click on "content" tab and click "certificates".

    4. All the available certificates will be listed there.

    5. Locate the particular certificate that you are looking for and remove it.

You can also try the steps below to view the certificates:

    1. Open run command.

    2. Type certmgr.msc and press enter

    3. Certificates are stored in the folders under Certificates - Current User. You might have to search through the folders to find the certificate you're looking for.

    Hope this helps.
