  1. Acces data from previous bitlocked drive on same operating system with same user profile?

To start, my disk space was very very low like 70mb available, I then copied my one outlook archive file over to my D drive and deleted the original from C. I then proceeded to see that my bitlocker was never disabled and I went into cmd and disabled bitlocker via cmd commands. The following day I added my archive file back to outlook and found that 2 years of emails has dissapeared. I then used scanpst to repair the file but no luck. I then used Recuva, EaseUS and R-Studio to try and get the original file back from the C drive, but now none of the software is even picking up that the pst file

Need to turn off Bitlocker to install Windows 10

    Hi,

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

    • You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
    • The drive must be BitLocker-protected.
To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

    • Click Start, click Control Panel, click
System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
    • Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
    • A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
    • Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.

Let us know how it goes.

  3. Data Recovery in Bitlocker Encrypted Drive

Today my home laptop system asked for bit locker password after booting up (before login). Bit locker encryption was not enabled by me. However, to make the computer usable, C drive was formatted since there was no critical data in C Drive. However D Drive is still encrypted.

    Kindly confirm

    1. Can Bitlocker Encryption be enabled without intervention of the user?
    2. Where to find the bitlocker encryption key?
    3. How to recover the Data in Encrypted D Drive?
