    Access dB on an iMac

I have Microsoft 365 and Office on my iMac. Now I want to add Access dB, so it appears I need to add Windows running under Parallels. Is this a completely independent of current 365/Office? Any advice/cautions?

    :)

  2. DB files

    Hi Diarmid,

A .db file is a database file format for Windows. It stores data information in a series of tables, table files, and field data values. To best address your concern, we need to answer the following questions:

    • Which application are you using to open the .db file?
    • Are you getting an error message when trying to open the file? If yes, kindly provide us a screenshot.

We will be waiting for your response.

connecting to my Imac thru LAN

On my home network I have my Windows 10 laptop and my Imac desktop computers. I have no problem accessing my Windows laptop from my Mac. But for some reason, my Windows 10 laptop refuses to allow me to access files on my Imac. I have used the correct
password each time, but it tells me NO. I can even see the Imac in the network list. What am I doing wrong??

    Access dB on an iMac

Setting up Microsoft Remote Desktop access via the Internet (from iMac to iMac)

I want to setup access to an Apple iMac via the internet to another iMac.

    1. Currently I am running the latest Microsoft Remote Desktop which I can interconnect within the local network - but I now want to access it when I am away from home. How to I set this function up?

    2. Also I use the same to access a Raspberry Pi - but some of the icon buttons do not work - such as the all important -"Shutdown" ! Any suggestions why this happens. The Icon buttons work on the pi HDMI screen.
