Windows 10: Access denied when attempting to open efax site/ account

I got an error when visiting www.efax.com/myaccount/login?returnPageKey=%2Fhomepage&timeout=.Error code: 1020Ray ID: 793e0b94192cb0d9Country: USData center: atl06IP: 68.169.151.26Timestamp: 2023-02-03 20:51:33 UTCTried to access through windows and edge; neither work. Cleared browsing history and cookies and restarted. Never had this problem before, however, I believe windows has made some automatic updates since I last tried to access eFax.

Could not open Service Manager: Access is denied

Hi,

I downloaded gpu-z - I can run it as administrator, it works great.

Thing is, I need it to be running from a user account to monitor what happens in a given user situation.

But even if I Run as Administrator I get this error message:
Could not open Service Manager: Access is denied

do you know why and a way around this?

Remote access denied.

Hi Paul,

To resolve your concern about remote access denied, follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows logo+R on your keyboard.
• Type services.msc on the Run box.
• Open Remote Desktop Services.
• Go to the Log On tab.
• Select This account: Network Service.
• Click Apply, and then OK.

Settings can't be opened using the built-in administrator account

Unfortunately I have the same issue as Dabz from upgrading win7 to win10.
I've tried opening settings using all the suggested methods and it will not load using my account with Administrator access nor the built-in Administrator profile. I also tried other methods not listed such as using Run. Control panel is just a stepping stone to add users in Settings.
I'm also having explorer.exe issues, which I believe is preventing Settings from loading.
Using cmd (Admin) I successfully created a new user profile [and granted admin access also using cmd (Admin)], however win10 will not allow this account to log on. win10 does not list this new user within control panel but it does in the start menu. win10 will not allow to log in or switch to the new account via the start menu either.
I can access settings in Safe Mode but this will not allow me to create a new account.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
