    Access denied when importing a scanned doc/pic


    I have an HP 1400 series printer and running Microsoft 10. When I scan a document or picture, the scanner works fine, but I cannot import it. I receive an Access Denied Error. What can I do to fix this error?

    HELLO

    CAN YOU PLEASE HELP WITH A PROBLEM I HAVE SINCE UP-GRADING TO WINDOWS 10, I HAVE A HP PSC 1410 ALL IN ONE PRINTER .

    EVERY TIME I TRY AND IMPORT A DOC/OR PICTURE FROM MY SCANNER.

    THE SCAN COMES UP ON THE SCREEN OK BUT WHEN I TRY TO IMPORT TO FILE THE MESSAGE ACCESS DENIED KEEPS COMING UP AND CODE 8[(8,106,0)] ERROR CODE KEEPS COMING UP .

    THIS PROBLEM IS DRIVING ME NUTS , AS YOU CAN SEE I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS MANY THANKS BRYAN.

    Windows 10 Prob - Importing pictures error Access is denied

    I have windows 10. I can print to my printer but when I scan a pict/doc it works until it tries to import / save to the computer, I then get a message:

    The following error occurred while importing Image.jpg: X Access is denied.

    It then asks me what I want to do - I want to continue but in the end I have to cancel as it won't do anything to correct it.

    I uninstalled the printer and set it up again but the same thing happens. What now?

    Access denied error for Scan

    After the recent upgrade to windows 10 I haven't been able to scan from my Canon multi-function printer. I have been trough several troubleshoots. I am able to print a test document out and get as far as preview scanned documents. the problem occurs when
    attempting to import the file; An Error code reading Access is denied appears. No other information is given.
