    I had the exact situation specified in the same question on 19 Aug 2023 by Jim Davis4. When trying to download my photos by USB connection to my Fuji X-S10 I received the access denied message and when accessing properties of the object I did not have a Security Tab visible. I found the solution to my problem which may be useful for some other user. I realised that the download had worked fine before I had used the Fuji X-App. On close examination I found that in the X-App settings I had set on the X-App setting Run the Fujifilm xApp also in background option.
