Windows 10: access to an sbcglobal.net account

I cannot sync my windows email account to my sbcglobal.net account. i am able to retrieve messages via my ipad or iphone without difficulties. However, on my laptop, I am not able to do so.


When I try to recover the password, I cannot. When I go into the recover password section, either get routed to my husbands account or come up with a cannot locate error.


Any ideas. The last email i was able to download was about a year ago.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

net user administrator /active:no keeps saying access denied.

It's possible that you're not using an elevated command prompt, causing the Access Denied error. We suggest following these steps to properly disable the built-in administrator account:

• Right-click the Start button.
• Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
• Copy and paste net user Administrator /active:no and press
  Enter. If the command isn't successful, please post a screenshot so that we can study it further.

Let us know if you're able to hide the administrator account after following these steps.

 

How to remove Guest account?


Try these steps and you should be able to delete the guest account:

1. Press the WIN + X keys and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" from the Quick Access menu.
