Windows 10: access to dics C

Hello, im here to ask you what to do, yesterday i got BSOD, i after sometime i chose option to reset my windows with deleting all programs that havent been installed from factory. After re-installing windows 11 not from USB driver, i started to check all my files and while looking in file explorer i found out that i didnt have access to C disc. what i have to thanks for response <3

As you are facing issues with privileges to access the local account, I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

• Please be informed us the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

This issue might be due to some error in system settings.

If you have not yet tried the below steps, I suggest you to perform and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log out from the current user account, restart the computer and log-in with the administrator account and check if you are able to access the local drivers.

Step 2: I suggest you to place the computer in safe mode, try to log-in with administrator account and check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 - No access rights to C:

Sorry for the inconvenience you are facing. Did you make any changes prior to the issue? Please try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I would suggest you to follow these steps to take the ownership of the drive.

  Right click on Drive C and click
  Properties.
  
• 
  Switch to Security tab, click
  Edit and Add to add your user account, if it is not listed. Assign the
  full control permission for your own account and click
  OK.
  
• 
  Click Advanced, switch to
  Ownership tab and click
  Edit button.
  
• 
  Highlight your user account and click
  Apply, and then click
  OK.
  

Method 2: I would suggest you to disable to UAC settings and check.

  In search type User account control.
  
• 
  Select Change User Account Control Settings.
  
• 
  Move the slider to Never notify and click
  Ok.
