    Detecting the problem on the user side.A corporate user is using his domain laptop at home, as a domain user. He remembers that he needs something from the corporate network. He connects to his home network and then logs into the corporate network with cisco secure client VPN. The VPN client indicates that the login was successful. The user has access to all necessary resources, except for the contents of \\fqdn.domain.name.com\netlogon.     Domain Controllers Windows update to address Netlogon Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability

    Hi,

    We are planning to update Domain Controllers runing Windows server 2012 R2 to address Netlogon Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability.

    For this we are installing following updates:

    1. KB4566425 (pre-requisite)

    2. KB4571723 (Security update only)

    With reference to roll back these updates what are our options?, if someone can please suggest exact steps for roll back or uninstalling the updates.

    Also, if anyone can please share their past experiences on installing these updates on Domain Controllers (preparations, issues, back-ups etc.)

    LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

    I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ? Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

    Access Denied for Enterprise & domain admin

    when I try to change permission for shared folder I got access denied although I am a domain & enterprise and server local admin
