Windows 10: Access to mic is missing in Messenger

Discus and support Access to mic is missing in Messenger in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I get a message "Please Allow Microphone Access" in my Messenger app. I tried to adjust it in the settings but can't.     Access to mic is missing in Messenger


    I get a message "Please Allow Microphone Access" in my Messenger app. I tried to adjust it in the settings but can't. I tried to reset the Messenger but it didn’t help

    Allow Messenger to use my camera and mic

    I can not use messenger on my laptop as it does not recognize the camera and mic. I am in settings, privacy, camera but Messenger is not listed as one of the apps that can use my camera. I do not see how I can add that to the list. It's the same for microphone
    - no place to add Messenger.

    I can only use Messenger on my cell phone to chat with camera.

    Any suggestions to resolve my problem would be appreciated.

    USB Mic Problems.

    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

    Facebook messenger won't access camera or microphone

    Do not need that screenshot. You need to physically boot into the bios when you power on the machine and check to see if there are settings to disable the mic and camera.
