Windows 10: Access to the path denied

    Can anyone give me a clear, concise answer as to what this means when it is received after attempting to login to a program on windows 10?

    My problem is that our IT dept says this issue lies with the WebTMS. However, webTMS programmers say that they’ve never experienced this issue, therefore it is on our(my company’s) side.

    I am limited due to my user permission settings. The best that I have been able to determine is that the problem is on our side and is from the permission settings within the program.

    There is also a different error message received when the program is opened from the menu(the picture above is when it is opened from the shortcut that IT installed on the desktop), which is as follows:


    “Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\WebTMS\Interop.SHDocVw.

    I don’t even know if the selected topic is appropriate. I figured my company’s private network & internet(webtms origin) might be fitting, so please forgive if this isn’t the correct spot for this question.

    I am looking for the vernacular proof, so that I may lay it out, word for word, to my IT dept on how to fix this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Change Folder Destination access Denied

    Thanks.

    After following the steps suggested, I get the message "Access denied" in command prompt.

    Please advise how to allow permission.

    EDIT: Here's a solution...
    Launch the shortcuts via CMD:

    1. Right-click the shortcut to Properties
    2. Click Change Icon, then click OK when its window pops up (necessary step to avoid losing the icon)
    3. Add the following, plus a space, to the beginning of the Target field, leaving the existing path at the end:

      cmd /c start ""

    I do this and the shortcut opens the command window

    Whenever I connect any pendrive or hard disk it says access denied for pen drive I googled got the solution for pendrive but I need to follow the steps everytime I connect give me the permanent solution and steps for hard drive access denied
