Windows 10: Accessing BIOS in Windows 10 That Has Been Bootcamp-ed From Mac OS

Hi, i'm relatively new to Windows 10, can anyone help me on this ?

I've searched that there is only 2 ways that you could *actually* increase your VRAM or Dedicated Video Memory, and that is by :
1. accessing to BIOS
2. buying a new Graphic Card
and 3. via Regedit (in which I said there's only 2 ways that *actually* increase the VRAM, and this one doesn't, as far as I know)

but the thing is, my PC has been bootcamp-ed, that means, i'm using iMac but the OS is Windows 10.

Also, I can't access my OS X(Mac OS) anymore due to my error deleting its data and stuff.. so yes, i'm stuck using Windows 10, but that's beside the problem.

I have 2 x 4 GB of RAM, and would want to increase it to somewhat 1052 ? as suggested in some video I've watched (I think, cause' I can't really recall what the number suggested was)

and by this, I need to access BIOS, but the thing is, Mac uses something called Open Firmware and now, due to me having Windows 10 right now, I can't press the suggested key (when restarting) because i'm not using Mac OS!

is there anyone that could perhaps help me In some way to access BIOS?

one more thing, I've followed the UEFI way(The one in the Recovery setting), and tried to disable fast startup to make it possible to access it, and the result was nada. (It didn't show up, and some article said that It could be that my PC didn't support UEFI or something in the first place)

- You could ask me for my PC spec (though please tell me where I could see it, cause' i'm pretty new to Windows 10) and i'll give it to yah

Windows backup fails with error 0x81000019 on a Mac using Bootcamp


I'll respond to my own thread. I tried various options as found on the internet, such as ensuring that the Volume Shadow Copy service was running, all to no avail. Then I came across the Ed Andersen blog, Windows 10 on Mac Bootcamp fixes (Updated) - Ed Andersen. I downloaded AutoRuns as described, turned off the AppleHFS service, rebooted and reattempted the backup. Success. SO thank you Ed!

I've installed Windows 10 Pro on my Mac OS Sierra without Bootcamp but the wireless network isn't showing up. The wireless netork isn't showing up in Device Manager. Can anyone assist me.

Hello,

To Install Windows 10 in Mac you need:

• Windows 10.iso
• USB drive atleast 8 GB (To Create Bootable USB for windows installation)

NOTE: Make sure that no other USB or another media installed to perform this operation

Make sure that When you try your bootcamp assistant for Windows installation. You need
Administrator Control for this operation.

When Boot Camp Assistant started it gives you three options, all three tasks are checked. Then Continue.

• In the Next Step Boot camp assistant ask to Create bootable USB drive for windows 7 or later version installation, select the
  Windows ISO image, select a destination USB drive, and then click to
  Continue.
• After that Boot camp Assistant will prompt you to choose the size of the partition that you'll use for Windows. So this is the time when you can choose partition size for your Windows and
  choose high amount of size for your Windows Installation partition.
• When It's Done, Don't remove the flash Drive, Click to Install.
  The partition will takes place and then the Mac will RESTART. Make Sure the
  flash drive remained plugged in for the Windows Installation.
• Then mac will boot from USB drive where Windows setup contain for Windows installation, Windows Setup boot and ask for accept agreement and then give you partition option where you want to install and then choose
  BOOTCAMP partition and format it.
• Then click next and sit back and relax until Installation is complete. And Here we go, your Mac book is Ready With
  Windows 10 with dual boot MAC OS.
