Windows 10: Accessing Canadian version of Microsoft Money file

I have an old Microsoft Money file from 2006 that I need access to for some information about my net worth on a specific day. I have the money file but I am unable to open it and see the information . I downloaded Microsoft Money Plus Sunset but have read that it does not work with non US files and I am in Canada. It is very important that I try to access this information and would love any help possible as this could save me thousands of dollars if I can access it.

The first step is to uninstall Money, reboot and then reinstall it. The second post in the Money forum gives links to installation files if you no longer have your installation disk.
