  1. Accidental UI/Coloring Switch For Windows 10

Hi. While trying to do the Windows Key+PRT SCN shortcut to take a screenshot of my monitor, I accidentally typed in the wrong shortcut and my Windows ended up looking like this. Accidental UI/Coloring Switch For Windows 10 d1520567-c538-4a48-acbb-77cac053f96b?upload=true.png

My wallpaper turned black and the UI became very ugly. I tried to type in random shortcuts to reverse the effect, but to no avail. If anyone would know the way to revert this it would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance.

    :)

  2. UI color changes when switching between accounts

    Hi,

I'm running Win10 Home (version 1709 - build 16299.64) on an Acer Aspire E1-572G laptop. I've 3 accounts enabled on this PC: me, my wife (both as admin) and my son (standard user). All the accounts are linked to their respective MS Accounts.

We all have different UI colors: I have green, my wife fuchsia and my son blue. Starting from a fresh reboot if I access my account everything is "green" as expected, if my son logs in after that UI switches to blue as per his preferences and when I switch
back to my account it goes back to green. But if my wife logs in (whether as first user, or after any of us) then UI colors are set to fuchsia and changing accounts creates a sort of hybrid situation: for instance if I log in after my wife Windows borders
and volume bar are fuchsia while apps loading show the usual green color.

Going in settings and switching back and forth between colors doesn't change anything, the only way to correct this is to fully reboot the PC.

This happens to both my account and my son's one. Of course my wife's account works as expected.

Any idea on how to fix this?

    Thanks!

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • In the search box, type settings.
    • Then select personalization.
    • Click on color option on the left side.
    • You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
    • You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.
Hope this information was helpful and do let us know if you need further assistance. We will be glad to assist.
