Windows 10: Accidentally Allowed School Access to Computer

I accidentally allowed my school access to my computer when I was downloading excel and clicked the enable access to a computer. I removed the account from the settings, but it is still managing my laptop after that and has made me change my password multiple times. How can I fix this?

I accidentally disabled my school account on my new computer

Hello,

While I was trying to disconnect my school account from my old computer, I accidentally disconnected it from the new one. I did this via My Account. Now I can't access my school emails and Office apps on my computer. I can't reactivate from the same link. It says I need to contact my device manager. Can you tell me the steps I need to do?

Setting up Exchange on Andriod with school Office 365 account

It depends if your school has blocked access for setting up on mobile device email clients. Contact your school or ask an instructor if they have a step-by-step guide to setup up on a mobile client if allowed.

 

Unlink School Account

Ok that started to make sense now. So where you clicked is not referring to your main account/local user, but account used by email/Microsoft apps. So since your office 365 apps are using the school email credentials it sends you there. That’s normal.

The reason it is not listed under access work or school is because I believe you didn’t allow it to access your settings. When you sign into office 365 apps there’s a pop up asking if you allow organization to access your settings you have the option to choose “for this app only”. Otherwise if you choose allow your school email will be listed under access work or school.
