  1. Accidentally Borked the Driver on my Logitech G710+ Keyboard

    So I did something stupid...

I was adding in drivers for a development board I was working with, and for some reason I didn't think it worked, so I did it again. What I didn't notice is that the program that replaces the drivers had advanced to the next device in the list, which was my keyboard. It set the driver to WinUSB, thus borking my keyboard entirely.

The problem is that I can't seem to undo what I did. I removed all of the keyboards from Device Manager, unplugged the KB and rebooted. Then I plugged it back in and no lights, no typing still. I went to the Logitech website and downloaded the new driver package to no avail. The software will install, but the driver doesn't seem to change, so no lights, no typing. Then I force uninstalled the drivers for all keyboards and loaded Logitech drivers from Windows 10 (20H2). Still no go.

I would like to get this fixed because I need a lighted keyboard in my office and I don't want to use the Logitech G15 that I'm currently typing on because it is a collector's item and is in pristine shape. (also, the lighted keys are a little dim under the glare of my monitor.)

I can't use the program that messed up the drivers in the first place, because it doesn't see the Logitech drivers, just the dev board ones.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any suggestions gratefully received.

    :)

  2. Logitech G710+ keyboard any good?

You are sort of comparing apples to oranges as well. Only the Logitech is mechanical out of the three you are looking at. The other two are rubber dome switches, and it really comes down to feel as Bill addressed, and then software option to make it fit your specific needs. If you are happy with a rubber dome offering, you can save yourself tons of money sticking with that route.

    Logitech G710+ keyboard any good?

I know I'll have to check it with my own eyes and fingers but since shops don't hold all of them I have to first weed out the good stuff and then visit those stores that have specific models and check them out.

Currently I have Logitech G710+, Roccat Isku and to my surprise, Genius Imperator. It looks pretty decent budget gaming keyboard, I just have to see it myself. Price is not everything as proven by UltraX which was relatively cheap and absolutely amazing keyboard.

Keyboard input lag (Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, Windows 10 20H2)

Hi there. I've got yet another Windows 10 problem. lol

This time it's my keyboard. I'm using a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard, on Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I have been experiencing keyboard input lag off and on for a couple months now, and I've searched for possible solutions, but none so far have worked. I was hoping you guys could suggest some fixes.

Here's what I've tried, based on the suggestions I've found on the web:
    • Updating the keyboard/dongle's drivers (there are no drivers on Logitechs's site, oddly) and firmware. Nope.
    • Swapping USB ports. Nada.
    • Unplugging any extraneous USB devices. Zilch.
    • Checking the batteries. No joy.

As I was typing this it was lagging here and there. It's a bit disconcerting. Anyway... I don't think I missed anything, but if you need more information or diagnostics, lemme know and I'll upload 'em.
