Windows 10: accidentally change administrator to user, how to change back to admin

Hi all,

actually i wanted to disable the log in password function every time when i on my PC but i accidentally changed the administrator to user... after restarting my com i cant change back as i'm not the admin any more...

anyways to change back to admin? pls help... thank you...

Windows 10 Changed to user on accident

So I accidentally changed to user i was originally in administrator I don't have admin account to login and rewrite the wrong, because I accidentally turned it off before I changed to user is there any thing I can do, I also can't wipe my windows clean as
well since it needs admin password and admin username

How to change local account back to administrator on windows 10 HP laptop.

Click on Start - and type "control panel" and click on it

Once open, search "recovery" and hit enter. When it comes up, click on recovery.

On the next page, open "open system restore"

They'll be a box that says "click for more restore points" that I would click. Choose a restore point, and follow the prompts.

** Please note, all your files and photos, etc will be fine. Any applications (ex. candy crush) you've installed since the point you're going back to will be removed. Just a heads up **

You cannot change the Hidden Built In Administrator account to User.
But, If you changed your User Account with Admin rights, then try leaving the Password Field Blank for the Administrator account.
If you want to run Computer Management snapin, then go to Start/Search and type compmgmt.msc, Right click the compmgmt results and Run As Administrator and if it asks for a password for the Admin account, leave it blank.
To Reset your type of account, Enable the Hidden Administrator Account. Log out as you, login as Built in Admin and change your type of account in Control Panel/Users. Be sure to Hide the Built In Administrators account again

There's another potential 'Catch 22' waiting for you there too - that's if you don't already have the bootable recovery drive or install media needed to start the process. The UAC won't let you make a recovery drive or use Microsoft's Media Creation Tool to download the install media (as this unfortunate person found out). Administrator password forgot,UAC problem We took a while to get there, but it was all sorted in the end.
