Windows 10: Accidentally deleted a file and it's not in the Recycle Bin. How to recover?

I was trying to clean up my Desktop and deleted an important file by accident. I didn't notice this immediately, so I emptied the Recycle Bin after deleting the rest of the files on my Desktop. Once I realized what happened I confirmed that the Recycle Bin had indeed been emptied and I would no longer be able to restore the file I needed. This all happened just this morning and I don't have System Restore set up. How do I get my file back?

How do I recover a deleted file from the recycle bin in Windows 10?

I request you to check if the option "Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted" is selected.

Follow the steps below:

• Right click on the recycle Bin.
• Select Properties.
• Check if the option "Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted" is selected.
• Also check if the "Custom size" is more than the size of the file which you deleted.

If the files got deleted from the Recycle Bin also then I'm afraid there is no way of recovering permanent deleted files. Please get back to us if this option is not selected and still the files are not in the Recycle Bin.
