Windows 10: Accidentally deleted downloads folder. Is there a way to make my new downloads folder the...

I reset my pc a few days ago, and i kept my downloads folder on my d drive, and replaced it with the new downloads folder after resetting my pc. which didnt work. and i have no way of restoring the original. I use microsoft clipchamp a lot, and cant have it just download the files straight onto my d drive, but it has no way to change the download location. so is there a way to make my d drive downloads folder from before i reset my pc as the default?

Accidentally Deleted Downloads folder

I was trying to move my downloads folder to another position on the left navigation folder tree, and I ended up accidentally deleting it. I managed to sort of restore it, but now I have three downloads folder, two of which don't open. When I try to open them, I get a 'location not available' error message.

What I'd like to do is move the downloads folder to a more prominent position more easily seen. If this is not possible, I'd just like to restore it to where it was. Are all three download folders connected? Can I delete the two that don't open?

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.
