    Accidentally deleted only administrator account, stuck with standard and can't make a new one


    I'm fairly new to windows 10, only downloaded it a few days ago so forgive me if I don't have the best knowledge. Basically while trying to remove an empty standard account I no longer needed, I deleted the wrong user instead and deleted my only Administrator and main user. Not only have I lost the data on it, but I no longer can have the permissions I need to try and get that data back! I'm stuck on a standard user account, that cannot make another admin account, can't activate the hidden admin account nor can I change the type of account it is.

    I'm stuck in a terrible loop and every forum I've seen gives the same answer or is never solved, please help!

    Accidentally Deleted Administrator Account


    I was fed up having to log in a password every time I had to enter my laptop. So I followed some online tutorial and ended up deleting some user accounts on my laptop. I think I accidentally deleted a lot of user profile! I still have to log in with a password to enter my laptop but I have no admin account *Sad

    • How many administrator accounts you have in your computer?

    • Can you explain us how you deleted the administrator account? (Deleting administrator account within standard account in not possible)

    • Is it a local admin or Microsoft account administrator which got deleted?

    I tried to follow this tutorial. When Iam trying to download the file onto USB, I am getting stuck cos I don't have admin previlige! Any suggestions would be useful.
