  2. Realtek HD Audio Manager issues.

Hi there Dio-Brando , I will be your Tech Helper for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

Lets try reloading the Audio driver on your machine.

I need to you delete all the Audio drivers listed in the Device Manager.

Here is how to do it.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

    Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

    Step 5. Reboot the computer.

And then after that try to test your headsets out including the MIC.

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

Do you have DTS and Dolby in the list under Advanced in the Realtek Optical playback device (not the Realtek Audio Manager)?

accidentally deleted realtek audio in device manager

realtek audio manager for ALC1220-VB codec (gigabyte)

    Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Ultra , BIOS v F8

    Audio (on-board): Realtek ALC1120-VB codec

    Steps already taken:

updated all drivers and chipsets to most current

confirmed in apps list, control panel, Startup panel, and Search that there is no Realtek Audio Manager installed

disabled all audio controllers that are not Realtek

uninstalled all Realtek audio drivers (including checking the box to delete associated driver) in Device Manager

rebooted and reinstalled a number of versions of the latest drivers from both the manufacturer website, Aorus, and Microsoft Catalogue, and even the R282 version from 2017 from Realtek

No matter what I do, the Audio Manager does not install and I therefore have no way to re-task the line-in jacks for 5.1 channel sound.

    My questions are:

    1. where can I get a complete installer that will properly install both driver and Audio Manager

    2. what is the name/version of the drivers I need

    3. is the process described above adequate and if not, please describe in detail the necessary process
