Windows 10: accidentally did something in msconfig now i can’t sign in.

working on cleaning some things and guess i wasn’t careful enough to realize i disabled some things in msconfig now i am not able to access my pin without getting met with “something happened and your pin isn’t available” when i click set up pin it waits a second then sends me back to the main log in. i tried doing a full factory reset but after that is said undoing changes and i’m back to square 1 i have no back ups. is my pc screwed?

Accidentally disabled RAM in msconfig Windows 7

While trying to activate some extra RAM in my computer I accidentally disabled all of my RAM except for 10 MB in the advanced boot options in msconfig. Now when I boot my computer it blue screens with the error msg "BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO." I have tried
booting in safe mode but it does the same thing. Running msconfig through the cmd prompt in System Recovery Options isn't working either. Any suggestions on how I could get to msconfig or change the advanced boot options without booting my computer into windows?

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
