    Accidentally Hid Main User Files

Hello,I accidentally hid my main user files by accident. In that process, it created a "defaultuser10000" folder. I am seeing my laptop crash here and there and it is weird things that're happening. Below I'll list out some of the things:Cannot search. When hitting the Windows key to bring up the search bar, the loading line that crosses at the top continues to move, but no results show upIntermittently able to access settings. For instance, I can access display settings, but cannot access Windows Update option. It sits and the spinning circle spins and spins, even after multiple hours of sitt

    Accidentally hid my User folder

    Hi!

I accidentally hid my Users (the actual profile) folder and applied it to all subfolders which caused my pc to crash. I was able to unhide it again by creating a secondary user profile with admin right.

Although I've done this, when I try to use some applications it still crashes my pc.

Is there anyway I can fix this? I figured that hiding changed some paths of critical files...

Or am I left with no choice but to migrate to the new user profile I created to avoid the crashing?

Really appreciate any input on this matter, Thank you in advance!

  3. Accidentally hid all the folders under program files x86

i was trying to fix another issue (HDD 100%) when i accidentally hid program files x86 folder and all the folders/files under it. I was able to recover the program files x86 folder (running attrib -h -s "%ProgramFilesx86%" in cmd) but the recovered folder
shows as empty. When i check the properties it shows 300+ folders, however they are not showing.

    Help!

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
