Windows 10: accidentally overclocked monitor, and now after the manufacturer logo, it says out of range

hello, i overclocked my pc to 76 hertz instead of 70, and now my monitor can't open and shows out of range, i can only open bios but i can't acces recovery or anything from it, im sorry if im dumb

Help. My PC monitor says out of range.

I think I have change the resolution too high for the monitor to support. Now every time I boot the PC, after the windows logo it says in the monitor screen is out of range. I can't even access the home screen where I could change restart options. How
can I change the resolution back to normal?

I understand that Broadwell e overclock was disabled after the Windows update. However few of our customers were able to resolve the issue by uninstalling the update.



Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the update.

1. Press Windows logo key + R to open
   Run.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl
   and click on OK.
   
3. Click on View installed updates.
   
4. Search for the update (KB4100347), right on it and select
   uninstall.
   
5. Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.
   

As the issue is related with the overclocking, I suggest you to wait for the manufacturer of the motherboard to support with the issue, as you have already contacted them.
