Windows 10: Accidentally set the Ethernet sharing properties, and I can't change it. What should I do?

My internet router was broken, which I solved by using an ANKER C-to-Ethernet cable. However, I accidentally set the home networking connection as 'Wi-Fi', instead of 'Ethernet' in the Ethernet sharing properties. Careless of this mistake, I first turned on hotspot on 'Wi-Fi'. The Wi-Fi was noticeable on other devices, but it couldn't connect to the network, saying the internet may not be available. I tried changing the ethernet sharing properties, but then the home networking connection doesn't appear at all. I've then also tried turning on hotspot than trying to select an home networking con
