Windows 10: Accidentally wiped windows 10 off computer

So I was creating a dual boot for linux and accidentally downloaded linux on my main drive, wiping windows 10 completely. Is there a way for me to use my 500 gb external ssd and just boot from windows on there without buying windows again?

Preferably not on my computers main drive.

Wiping computer

Your report suggests that your installation has suffered some damage which prevents Windows from doing a reset. In such stubborn cases I would do this:

1. Create a new media installation disk:
   
   http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install
2. Run setup.exe on this disk.

It would wipe everything, including your data and all applications.

I suggest creating a backup image of your os drive
