Windows 10: Accidently installed pro instead of home

HI all a complete newbie here,

My problem is that I have installed Windows 10 pro instead of the Home edition, my laptop says I have the digital licence for the Home edition and I need to install Windows 10 Home but I cannot find anywhere for a free download etc, I haven't had my laptop long and so i'm still very much at the learning phase, it was bought second hand and I can't remember whether or not it originally had the home or pro version already installed either, I have managed to acquire a product key via the command prompt method which I have tried but its not recognised for the pro version so it must be for the home version, any help would be an absolute godsend as I am pulling whats left of my hair out at the moment.

Installed Windows Pro instead of Home

Hi, I accidently downloaded Windows 10 Pro instead of Home. My digital license only works on Windows 10 Home, so it is not letting me activate the operating system. I created a boot drive from my previous laptop and I am trying to install windows 10
Home on a new PC. How can I uninstall the "Pro" version and install the correct "Home" Version?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
