Windows 10: Accidently Switched out OEM Locked Motherboard

Hello! A few days after Christmas, I got a new motherboard for my Windows 10 PC from CyberpowerPC. The old motherboard that I had in my PC had windows activated on it, but I didn't know that it was OEM locked. So when I switched out my old motherboard for my new one, I accidently made windows not activated. I have tried going to Settings>Update&Security>Activation>Troubleshoot, and it didn't work. For proof that windows was activated on my old motherboard, I have an old live stream I did that was recording my entire main monitor, and you can see that it had no message on the bottom right corner saying "Activate Windows Go to Settings to activate Windows":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZrMoI9TSEo, and for proof that windows isn't activated on my new motherboard, this is a screenshot of my entire main monitor's screen:



Could anybody help?If you were wondering, I did not use a different pc for the motherboard swap, I got a brand new motherboard for Christmas and took out my old motherboard that was in my PC, and replaced it with the new motherboard correctly.

And I can also not just use the old motherboard because it was thrown away before I noticed the problem.

Switching Motherboards

Yes you will need to buy a new key, sorry.

OEM licenses are tied to the motherboard.

When you purchase a new key buy a retail key that way you can switch it out to a new PC if you need to at a later date.

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Switch user from lock screen

I understand that you want to switch user from lock screen. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



Once you lock the computer, to switch from one user account to another from the lock screen, select the user name from the list of available users at the bottom left of the sign-in screen, enter the credentials to sign-in.
