Windows 10: Accidently unlinked laptop because Microsoft email saying I could be hacked - now cannot...

Hello all,I received an email from Microsoft saying my account might be hacked. I logged in, changed the password and check activity. It did seem as if someone was unsuccessful in trying to log into my account. However, to be on the safe side, I locked and removed the device attached to the account, and now I cannot log into my Windows 11 laptop. I'm assuming it is because I locked it. But It says the administrators need to log in, but I don't know where to get the admin username and password from, nor how to log in as them. I logged into Microsoft on my phone to re register the device and app

Email Hacked

thank you for your response and the great information you provided.

I use two step authentication for my email account and all important web sites. I also use the full version of Malwarebytes to protect my computer.

But I will do the scans you suggested AdwCleaner and Limewire.com and let you know the results.

I am worried though that the webcam installed on my laptop could have been hacked. I never use it and forgot about it, so never disabled it.

Any suggestions as to find if it was actually hacked?

got an email saying my microsoft acct was hacked

then it listed a number...sometime today i found in my email junk folder a email saying my Microsoft acct was hacked and that it had unusual activity. i didn't click on any links, it just listed a phone #. the email stated the origin was from Russia.
im no Russian bott.
