Windows 10: Account Access Limited by Microsoft Family Glitch

So I used to be in a microsoft family with my dad, who recently removed his account off my computer. And upon try to access my family settings, I was not able to change anything. Both the microsoft website and Xbox 1 told me that I was already part of a family as a child account. Even though I had been removed a few days ago now. If anyone has any advice, please tell me, this is blocking me from multiple features on my account.

Basically removing the account from the family group, the account will still exist, but it won't have the benefits or restrictions it had within the family group.



In this scenario I suggest you to check if the child account still exists under family group. If yes, you can go ahead and remove the members from the family group. Refer the article

for the steps. Please make sure that you are followed and kindly back to us with the results.

Meanwhile I would like to inform you that it’s required have an administrator privileges on the computer to make any changes with the user account. I suggest you to try signing in with the administrator password and make the necessary changes.

I understand your query related to App time limits being applied on the Child Account in the Family group, and I certainly appreciate efforts in trying
to resolve the issue.



One of the things that you can try is removing the Child Account from the Family group and add it again to the Family group and check. Refer the articles
