    Account compromised


    Hi there. My younger brother uses my Microsoft account to play Minecraft. He recently asked for me to provide a verification code in order to download a a game modification. I didn’t think much of it but after that my account was compromised.My email is XX and I’ve tried to access the account but the email has already been changed. I got a warning email detailed as such:Your password changedYour password for the Microsoft accountjy***** Email address is removed for privacy *** was changed on 3/9/202310:11 PM GMT.If this was you, then

    Compromised Account

    The account I am currently using was compromised 5 to 6 days ago by a Russian e-mail. I have taken the steps to get the account back and change the password. My concern is WHY is there a 30 day waiting period to get their e-mail removed from an account that I proved is mine?

    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
