Windows 10: Account linked to gmail doesn't exist.

Hi,My son used his Gmail account to log into minecraft/microsoft. On March 28th he got his new Windows laptop and we tried to set it up with his Gmail account.We got the massage, we couldn't log in because the account doesn't exist. We tried to log into Minecraft on another device and got the message "the account does not exist".I then checked the Gmail account for recent activity related to the Microsoft account. The last login to the Microsoft account was the 9th of macrh I think this was while trying to log into Minecraft. There were no further reports about Microsoft.Sinc

Can anyone tell me how to delete these accounts from GMail ?

I found links that look like what I have on my gmail account with the other gmail accounts added. There are pictures and explanations. Thanks to bro67...Interestingly enough the Gmail link to this forum reply actually worked, as did your link to "How to Fix....." I tried steps 1 and 2 without success. Step 3 gave me the following screen, which didn't look like the article described. At any rate, the probem is unchanged...screenshot follows.

 

Add gmail account to outlook without text message verification?

A screenshot might help us identify whether it is MS or gmail that is responsible for this (my guess is gmail). The MS instructions you linked to say that no verification should be required if 2FA (in gmail) is off.

I suggest you turn on 2FA in gmail, and try again.
